After long months of fighting in the northern sector, the Golani Brigade combat team forces under the command of the 36th Division returned to action in the Gaza Strip.

For the past week, the brigade's forces have been operating in the Rafah area to locate and destroy the remaining terrorist infrastructure in the area, including buildings from which terrorists operate and observation and firing positions. During the operation, the forces locate weapons and eliminate terrorists.

IDF forces will continue to operate against terrorist organizations in the Gaza Strip in order to protect the citizens of the State of Israel.
