French Foreign Minister Jean-Noรซl Barrot showed open disrespect during a meeting in Paris with Israeli hostage families, including recently released Agam Berger. According to participants, Barrot appeared impatient and even vaped directly in front of Berger as she recounted her harrowing time in captivity.
The emotional meeting took place over the weekend as part of a spiritual journey to Morocco and France, organized by the French group Torah Box and Israel’s Ayelet HaShachar. Over 50 relatives of hostages still held in Gaza participated, including Berger’s family.
"He tried to act like he was listening, but we weren't convinced," said the father of one hostage. "Agam began speaking about her experience, and he vaped right in her face," added the aunt of another captive.
One attendee summed up the experience bluntly: “I left that room knowing I can rely only on God.”
