The Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen said Wednesday its airstrikes killed another 60 Houthi insurgents near Marib.
Eight military vehicles were destroyed and 60 militia members killed in 11 operations over 24 hours to hunt down rebels, it said in a statement carried by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
It said the operations were carried out in Sirwah to the west of Marib and Al-Jawf province to the north.
Meanwhile, GCC Secretary General Nayef Al-Hajraf on Wednesday decried the firing of three ballistic missiles by the Houthis in the direction of the Southern Region in Saudi Arabia.
In a statement, the GCC chief denounced the targeting of civilians and civilian targets in the Kingdom and lauded forces of the Coalition fand the Saudi Air Force for confronting the terrorist attacks carried out by the militias.
The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) also condemned in the strongest terms, the launch of the three ballistic missiles by the militias to target civilians and civilian objects in the southern region of the Kingdom.
OIC Secretary-General Dr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen called on international community to take firm stances to stop the cowardly threats with ballistic missiles and booby-trapped drones being posed by the Houthis, targeting civilians and civilian objects.
