Lebanese “prophet” al-Husseini: Lebanon is heading for a major geographic and demographic change and warns Shiites to flee the north and Hezbollah stronghold in Beirut.
Muhammad Ali al-Husseini, secretary-general of the Islamic Arab Council, issued an unprecedented warning about Lebanon’s future, saying the country is moving toward a “geographic and demographic change” that could redraw its borders and alter its population makeup.
In a post on X, al-Husseini claimed Lebanon is “part of a project to reorganize and partition countries and regions,” suggesting that what Lebanese people know as their homeland “will not remain the same.”
He added that some may denounce or ignore the claim, but “we see, hear and observe that Lebanon is on a path to change. The decision has been made, and implementation is near.”
