In a January 23, 2026 Friday sermon delivered at the Muslim American Society (MAS) Youth Center of Central New Jersey in North Brunswick, an imam declared that Palestine “in its entirety, from the river to the sea,” belongs exclusively to Muslims until the Day of Judgment.
The imam described supplication as a Muslim “weapon,” but emphasized that prayer alone is insufficient. He urged financial giving, saying that donations should not be viewed as charity but as a direct contribution to jihad, stating: “They pay with their lives and we pay with our money.” He further listed Al-Aqsa Mosque, Gaza, the West Bank, Jerusalem, and all of Palestine as part of this religious inheritance.
