Lebanese media report that at least eight Hezbollah terrorists were killed in a series of IDF UAV strikes in the villages of Tafahata and Jwayya in southern Lebanon. According to the reports, two separate strikes in Tafahata, in the Sidon District, killed at least six terrorists.
An additional UAV strike in Jwayya, in the Tyre District, reportedly killed two more Hezbollah terrorists. If confirmed, the strikes would mark another significant Israeli action against Hezbollah operatives in southern Lebanon as the IDF continues targeting terror infrastructure and personnel near the border.
NEWSRAEL: WHY THIS IS IMPORTANT
These reported strikes suggest that Israel is continuing to enforce a high operational tempo against Hezbollah in southern Lebanon, even beyond the immediate border zone. Hitting terrorists in multiple villages in a short period points to strong intelligence coverage and a willingness to act quickly against emerging threats before they can be turned into attacks on Israel.
