A "social activists" organization in California pays high school students $1,400 per student to act "against racism" and for "social justice".

The organization also awarded $20,000 to 13 parents who participated in the program in recent years.
The organization's website states that its leadership development program focuses on youth from low-income families, youth of color, youth from the gay community, youth from foster care and immigrant youth.
