Israel wants U.S. F-35 sale conditioned on Saudi normalization

The Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia is set to meet with President Trump, and it is expected that the Saudis will request the ability to buy F-35s from the United States.

There is just one issue: selling F-35s to the Saudis can potentially give not only the Saudis but possibly the Chinese access to weapons and technology that would put Israel into a weakened position vis-à-vis its adversaries.

For his part, President Trump would like the Saudis to agree to join the Abraham Accords and finally normalize their relationship with Israel.

I wouldn't trust any Arab country. With one hand they will hug you, with the other they will stab you. Hamas wouldn't disarm. The only option Israel 🇮🇱 has is to finish them.

I do not agree with selling them to Saudi Arabia. But,I’m not the president so I’m sure he is not going to listen to me.
