Trump told the New York Post that Iran has sought to kill him for years and that recent intelligence concerning a possible assassination plot does not represent a new threat.

“I’ve been on their list for a long time. That’s what we’re dealing with,” Trump said.

“The thing is, I left instructions: If anything happens, just bomb them at a level they’ve never seen before.”
