Lebanese analyst, Sateh Noureddine, has issued a scathing article blaming Iran and the Houthis for playing a direct role in the devastation unfolding in Gaza.
According to the writer, it's time to speak openly with Tehran and hold it accountable for the Houthis’ destructive behavior, which Iran has tried to disown — a stance that no longer convinces anyone, especially not Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank.
The analyst argues that if Israel is using Houthi missiles aimed at Tel Aviv as a pretext to escalate its attacks on Gaza, then the conflict has entered a horrifying phase with seemingly no way out — except through the near-total annihilation of the Palestinian people.
He criticizes the repetitiveness of global reactions to Israeli aggression and failed mediation efforts, asserting that recent diplomatic talks in Doha and elsewhere have failed to pressure Israel to allow humanitarian aid into Gaza. He claims that Israel’s true goal — now being carried out relentlessly — is to destroy Gaza completely and expel its population.
