Israeli police are investigating the murder of a Bedouin woman in the Negev as a surge of homicides in the Arab sector continues.
The victim, a woman in her 30s, was found dead in Kuseife, a Bedouin village, with gunshot wounds.
“We received a report of a woman injured in a violent incident in Kuseife,” said Magen David Adom paramedic Moad Al-Amor. “We arrived at the scene quickly, and saw the injured woman unconscious, without a pulse and not breathing with penetrating injuries to her body. We immediately began performing advanced CPR, which included massages and rescue breaths, but her injury was critical and we were forced to declare her dead at the scene.”
Police investigators said they believe the attack was criminal in nature, and not terror.
