IRAN INTERNATIONAL -- Iranian state media claim that Israel bombed a Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) meeting in Tehran on June 16. However, an investigation by Iran International challenges the timeline and details of that report.
WHAT HAPPENED AND WHEN?
Fars News, affiliated with the IRGC, said the strike hit a meeting in western Tehran on the morning of June 16, injuring President Masoud Pezeshkian and others. But Iran International found no evidence of blasts that morning.
Instead, video evidence confirms missile strikes in western Tehran that afternoon, including at Shahid Bagheri Town. Social media posts and videos showed multiple blasts, likely targeting an IRGC facility in the Chitgar area.
