Houthi stronghold struck after attack on Saudi Arabia
Airstrikes targeted military sites in northern Yemen hours after the Houthis launched ballistic missiles and drones toward Abha Airport.
Several powerful explosions were reported overnight in Yemen’s northern Saada province, the principal stronghold of the Iranian-backed Houthi terrorist leadership.
Local sources and Arab media reported that the strikes targeted several Houthi military facilities across the province. The precise targets remain unclear, and no party has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
The strikes followed a Houthi assault on Saudi Arabia’s Abha International Airport using several ballistic missiles and drones.
