The IDF, led by the Binyamin Brigade, launched a major operation targeting terror infrastructure in Katna & Qubeiba, villages linked to the recent Jerusalem attack.
IDF forces, led by the Benjamin Brigade, launched Operation 'Protect Jerusalem', to act against the terrorist infrastructure in the area of the villages of 'Katna' and 'Kobiva', from which the terrorists who carried out the attack in Jerusalem emerged.
During the operation, the forces surrounded several villages, mapped the two homes of the terrorists who carried out the attack, arrested more than 20 wanted suspects suspected of terrorist activities, searched more than 700 targets, and confiscated 38 airsoft weapons, weapon parts, cartridges, ISIS flags, and other military equipment.
Additionally, in the villages of Qubayyah and Al-Mu'ayr, from which terrorists recently emerged, the Civil Administration demolished construction elements that had been erected in violation of the law.
This week, the Menashe Brigade led an extensive brigade operation in the Sanur Valley, Qabatia, the Jenin region, and villages in the Pentadrome. Brigade forces struck several terrorists, arrested several terrorist operatives, and confiscated tens of thousands of shekels of terrorist funds as well as weapons.
As part of the operation in the Menashe Brigade, three terrorist houses were destroyed, and two additional terrorist houses were destroyed in the Ephraim and Yehuda Brigades. During activities in the Etzion and Samaria Brigades, 21 wanted individuals were arrested, including terrorists who threw stones.
