Since taking office two years ago, Argentina's president has propelled relations with Israel to unprecedented heights.
The Sephardi chief rabbi of Israel on Tuesday blessed Argentinian President Javier Milei for his unflinching support for the Jewish state, amid burgeoning ties between the two nations.
“The entire Jewish nation prays for your success,” Rabbi David Yosef told Milei at the Argentinian president’s office during an official visit to Argentina. “Thank you for your steadfast support for the State of Israel and the Jewish people; you will be recorded in the chronicles of history as a president who stood on the right side of history.”
Milei has broken with decades of Argentine foreign policy by siding firmly with Israel since his election two years ago, propelling relations between the two nations to unprecedented heights.
