Following intelligence provided by Israel, the Lebanese Armed Forces located and uncovered a Hezbollah terrorist tunnel in the area of the village of Toulene in southern Lebanon.
According to the information shared, Israel alerted the Lebanese army to the presence of a Hezbollah terror infrastructure embedded in the civilian area. Lebanese forces subsequently arrived together with UNIFIL units at the site, but claimed that they found nothing and declared the Israeli information "baseless".
Israel understood that the Lebanese were, again, covering for Hezbollah, but was not going to let that happen. A message was sent to Lebanon that the IDF would "take care of it".
The Lebanese army returned to the site and carried out ground clearing operations, confirming as can be seen in the video, the existence of an underground tunnel used for terrorist activity.
