In recent days, several Palestinian factions have sharply criticized Hamas, accusing it of failing both in leading the military campaign and in managing civilian affairs effectively.

At the forefront of these voices is the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), which argues that Hamas has stopped consulting them or considering their input on key issues.

The PFLP and others blame Hamas for the hesitation and delays that plagued recent negotiation rounds. They believe this approach caused Israel to reject the so-called “Witkoff Agreement” — a partial proposal that they had long urged Hamas to accept.
