He was hired as the logistics manager at the Nova festival, this is a story about a hero, this is Yaniv's story.
As the rockets filled the sky he and his girlfriend who was working with him began to fold up the equipment. Suddenly they began to see people with gunshot wounds coming in front of them after they tried to leave the party area and were shot.
Yaniv ran to the bar, brought bottles of water and started handing them out, they put the wounded on mattresses, and tried to help as many people as possible, but the shooting was non-stop, and they ran from side to side to survive, and had to flee.
They got into the car, picked up some security guards and hid on the side of the road. On the way he saw six young men running away, the car was full but Yaniv made sure that everyone got in, they came to the police who were in the middle of a heavy firefight against dozens of terrorists and the police asked them to escape,
on the road they passed 4 squads of terrorists who sprayed their car with bullets. Yaniv's friend was shot in the leg and they stopped on the side of the road, when they found out, Yaniv was seriously injured and yet he continued driving.
With 4 bullets in his body he continued to drive to save everyone. When they arrived at the base they all got out of the vehicle and lay down bleeding beside the vehicle, no one could help them.
The bullets continued to whistle over their heads, dozens of bodies around them. In his last words, he looked at his girlfriend and told her: "I'm sorry, I love you." 9 hours later, when she was lying bleeding, soldiers came to take her to the hospital and two days later they announced that Yaniv did not survive.
They say he always took care of everyone and always put himself last.
This is a story about Yaniv who had dreams that were shattered in the October 7 massacre, Yaniv the hero who drove wounded through hell to save others.
Yaniv, thanks to whom 7 people were saved who will always continue to tell the story of his heroism. His light will shine on us forever, forever we will remember him, a hero!
