Ceremonies: The main state ceremony takes place at Yad Vashem in Jerusalem, with survivors lighting six torches symbolizing the six million victims.
Media & public life: TV and radio broadcast Holocaust-related programs; entertainment venues are closed.
Schools & communities: Educational events, testimonies from survivors, and memorial gatherings are held.
