On Wednesday night, U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi announced the formation of a "Joint Task Force" (JTF 10-7) to address the ongoing threat posed by Hamas, ensure justice for the victims of the October 7, 2023, attack in Israel, and combat antisemitic terrorism and civil rights violations within the United States, *Yediot Aharonot* reported.  

Operating under the Deputy Attorney General's Office, JTF 10-7 will coordinate efforts with the Department of Defense, the Treasury Department, the FBI, the National Security Division, and U.S. Attorneys’ Offices.  

According to a Justice Department memorandum released Thursday, the task force will focus on:  
- Pursuing criminal charges, including capital offenses, against individuals responsible for the October 7 attack.  
- Supporting victims and hostage families.  
- Investigating U.S.-based Hamas supporters and financial networks.  
- Collaborating with federal agencies and Israeli authorities to counter Hamas operations.
