The Arab news site "Political Keys" reported that "large military reinforcements of the Lebanese Hezbollah have been launched over the past few days from the countryside of Damascus back into Lebanon, through one of the illegal border crossings under the control of Hezbollah."
The sources from Damascus said that "Reinforcement was launched from a number of sites and weapon depots belonging to Hezbollah near the villages of al-Assad and Ya'afur, towards Lebanon, through a crossing that was used by Hezbollah to smuggle and bring in weapons and ammunition. It is located near the border town of "Kfir Yabus", and the person responsible for the crossing is a senior member of Hezbollah. Sohil Hazma".
The sources added, "The reinforcement consists of 8 trucks, in addition to cars carrying Lebanese troops to guard and protect the trucks."
The sources continued: "The trucks contain various weapons and ammunition, in addition to missiles and special platforms, most of which are Iranian-made, military equipment, surveillance and capture systems, and explosives."
According to the sources, "the reinforcement included sending about 60 people, all Lebanese, trained in heavy weapons and missiles, in addition to two field commanders, who are active in areas under the control of the Syrian regime."
The private sources concluded their conversation by saying that "the reinforcement is considered the first of its kind from that region, in terms of number and size, and was consistent with Iran's threats to Israel, after it bombed the Iranian consulate in Damascus."
