At least five people have died after Russian missile strikes in the major port city of Odesa, Ukraine says. 

A Ukraine govt spokesperson said that Russian forces launched at least six cruise missiles at Odesa. Ukraine’s remaining forces in Mariupol are holding out at the Azovstal steel plant. 

France & Germany reportedly SOLD $296 million of weapons to Russia despite an EU arms embargo. 

Both Germany and France have faced criticism for their response towards Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
