Lana Nusayeva, Assistant Foreign Minister of the Emirates, revealed in an article she published her country's vision for the "day after" in Gaza.
The Emirates is an important ally of Israel and also hates the current leadership of the Palestinian Authority and, of course, Hamas as well.
According to her, breaking the Israeli-Palestinian cycle of violence should begin with a "temporary" international task force in Gaza that will deal with the humanitarian crisis, establish law and order, lay the infrastructure for the government and pave the way for the reunification of Gaza and the West Bank under a "legitimate" Palestinian Authority, meaning not the Palestinian Authority the current one.
A temporary international presence in Gaza can only be established after an official invitation by the Palestinian Authority led by a "qualified, reliable and independent new prime minister", Naseeba claimed.
