Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he warned Australia’s prime minister three months ago that government policies were “pouring fuel on the fire of rising antisemitism” in the country, stressing that antisemitism spreads when leaders fail to act decisively.

Netanyahu said the recent attack in Australia, in which the death toll continues to rise, exposed both “the depths of evil” and, at the same time, “Jewish heroism at its very peak.”
