There were ugly clashes in central London as Jewish organisations led an emotionally-charged march demanding urgent action on hostages in Gaza.
A man, wearing the yellow hostage pin taking part in the march was violently assualted and grabbed by the throat by a Muslim man, who was detained by police following the incident.
Jewish organisations led a march of thousands of protesters through central London demanding the release of the remaining hostages in Gaza and they called on the British Government to do more to help them be freed.
Tensions in the UK continue to rise after Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer last month announced that the Labour government would recognise Palestinian statehood “unless the Israeli government takes substantive steps to end the appalling situation in Gaza”.
