The US & UK have imposed new sanctions against Russia's top public and private banks and two daughters of Putin. 
The new sanctions targeted Maria Vorontsova and Katerina Tikhonova, two adult daughters of Putin's with his former wife Lyudmila Shkrebneva. 

US has also slapped sanctions against members of Russia’s Security Council, including Dmitry Medvedev & Mikhail Mishustin. This comes after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky called for the total exclusion of Russian banks from Western finance. 

Zelensky has also condemned hesitancy in Europe over barring Russian energy imports. 

Meanwhile, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said he spoke with Russian President Vladimir Putin and urged an immediate cease-fire in Ukraine. Orban also said that Hungary does not support expanding EU sanctions to oil and gas imports from Russia.
