Two suspects who attempted to infiltrate the community of Karmei Tzur on February 6 have been arrested following a joint IDF operation.
Forces from the Etzion Brigade, the Oketz Unit, and the Unit 636 apprehended one of the suspects on the same evening as the attempted infiltration. After a week-long manhunt, fighters from the Nachshon Battalion of the Kfir Brigade arrested the second suspect in the village of Beit Ula.
Security forces had launched an extensive search operation across the Etzion sector following the infiltration attempt, combining intelligence gathering and ground operations to locate the second suspect.
The arrests come amid continued heightened security measures across Judea and Samaria, as Israeli forces work to prevent attacks against communities and civilians in the area.
