Former UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson fiercely criticized current Prime Minister Keir Starmer's position on Israel.
Johnson called the UK's decision to recognize a Palestinian state "ridiculous," accusing Starmer of siding against Israel while it is fighting for survival. "Israel is trying to rid itself of a regime that wants to annihilate it," Johnson stated.
He added that part of the so-called Palestinian government is "a psychopathic, Islamofascist terrorist organization," underscoring his view that such recognition rewards terror.
Johnson's comments reflect growing backlash among Western conservatives against governments that move to recognize a Palestinian state amid the ongoing war with Hamas.
