Gazan-American journalist reveals footage of baby formula hoarded by Hamas in the Gaza Strip, says the terror group intentionally created a shortage in order to encourage international pressure on Israel
Hamas hoarded baby formula in order to create an artificial shortage in the Gaza Strip with the goal of using the hunger of Gazan infants to foment international pressure against Israel, a Gaza journalist has reported.
On Monday, the Saudi-born Gazan American journalist Ahmed Fouad Alkhatib released footage of piles of boxes of baby formula in the Gaza Strip, one of many hoards he claimed Hamas maintains as part of a broader effort to impose hardships on Gaza’s civilian population which the terror group then used to strengthen its accusations against Israel of a war-related famine.
Alkhatib said the Hamas-run Gaza health ministry removed baby formula from the market over a period of six months, hiding the formula in order to “worsen the hunger crisis.”
