Saudi Foreign Minister Adel Al-Jubeir at the time spoke in his September 26, 2018 speech that was uploaded to the Council on Foreign Relations on YouTube about Qatar’s support of terrorism.
He said that Qatar has been sponsoring and facilitating terrorist groups such as Al-Qaeda, the Nusra Front, Iraqi Hizbullah, and Hezbollah in Lebanon.
Al-Jubeir said that Qatar harbors terrorists and the Muslim Brotherhood leadership and that it allows Islamic scholars to spread hate on its media channels, including justification of suicide bombings. He stated that Qatar seeks to topple the regimes in Gulf countries like Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and the UAE.
