Palestinian reconciliation? Ramallah is "drying up" Gaza

The talks about a possible reconciliation between Fatah and Hamas are not expressed in any way financially. According to Palestinian sources, the Authority in Ramallah gives Gaza only 8% of the total international aid it receives.

According to the same sources, the annual sum of $300 million per year that the Authority receives from international bodies is transfers only 24 million dollars to Gaza.

The PA explains that due to the sharp drop in aid amounts from abroad, it is forced to cut aid to Gaza. On the other hand, other sources claim that the PA wants to reduce as much as possible the transfer of funds to the Strip so that the money does not end up in the hands of Hamas.

I bet Abbas’s offshore bank account is pretty hefty with money that was earmarked for the Gazan people. The people of Gaza should hang all their governmental leaders.
