NEWSRAEL: Persecution of so-called "Palestinians" in Arabs countries is well known, but Palestine supporters and international groups only care for Palestinians that can harm Israel.
Syria’s new regime has decided not to renew official documents for the country’s Palestinian residents, effectively stripping them of their legal status. While Syrian citizens are receiving new IDs, passports, and driver’s licenses bearing the state’s updated symbols, Palestinians are being excluded as a form of sanction.
The move leaves thousands without valid identification, preventing students from obtaining high school diplomas or university degrees, and jeopardizing their future job prospects both inside Syria and abroad.
Observers warn that the decision could have severe long-term consequences for Palestinians in Syria, who now face additional barriers to education, employment, and recognition of their qualifications.
