WATCH: Three Houthi drones shot down after being detected over Sinai

One Houthi UAV crashed into Ramon Airport, outside of Eilat, several people lightly injured

(Sept. 7, 2025 / JNS) The Israeli Air Force intercepted three drones fired by Houthi terrorists from Yemen on Sunday, one of which penetrated Israeli airspace, triggering air-raid sirens in the Nitzana area near the Egyptian border.

The other one was shot down before crossing into Israeli territory.

The IAF engaged the drones after they were identified over Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula.

Eventually one or more of the drones or missiles will get through. No air defense system is perfect. The IAF are the best but not 100%. Stay alert and prayed up.
