In summarizing its last nine months of action against the Hezbollah terrorist organization in Lebanon, the IDF said that the Iranian proxy’s southern front, which faces Israel, no longer exists.

Outgoing Northern Command chief Maj. Gen. Uri Gordon told Mako during a tour this week of southern Lebanon that there are very few Hezbollah operatives left in the region.

The Shiite villages on Israel’s northern border, which used to hold about 120 Hezbollah fighters each, are destroyed and remain empty.
