The students of the Pre-Military preparatory school in Mitzpe Ramon for at-risk youth are participating in archaeological excavations this week in Tel Lakish.
I met them last night in Keremi Katif for a nightly conversation about personal values, steadfastness in the face of life's hardships, determination and perseverance.
Each of them is a world in its own right, I gave them as a personal gift my book "We Before Me" and I wish them success.
From this preparatory school, people go on a new, meaningful and contributing path. They go through a difficult time and become fighters in the IDF.
