Israeli commando rescued after falling in pit

The commando brigade recognized that he had fallen into a pit during navigation training in the Modi'in area. The rescue unit of the Air Force was called in.

The commando brigade fighter fell last night into a pit ten meters deep during navigation training between Modi'in Levan-Sheman. The soldier's friends realized that he had fallen into the pit and he was rescued by rescue unit 669 using a cable - in moderate condition. Also, a helicopter was launched to the scene and he was transported to the hospital to continue receiving medical treatment, while he is fully conscious. The soldier's family was informed of the incident.
