Hezbollah says it launched rockets and suicide drones toward a base near Haifa as Israel responds with widespread strikes in Lebanon, including in Dahiyeh, the Hezbollah neighborhood of Beirut
The Hezbollah terrorist organization claimed responsibility for launching rockets and suicide drones toward a base in the Haifa area. According to reports, a wave of departures is underway in Beirut as tensions escalate.
In response to the launches toward the State of Israel, the IDF has begun powerful strikes against Hezbollah terrorist targets across Lebanon. The military said Hezbollah, operating under the sponsorship of the Iranian terror regime, opened fire on Israel and its civilians, and that it will not allow the organization to pose a threat to northern communities. Israeli forces had prepared for this scenario under Operation “Lion’s Roar” and are ready for a multi-front escalation.
Additional attacks have been reported in the Dahiyeh district of Beirut, as well as in the Bekaa Valley. There are growing reports that one of the strikes may have been a targeted assassination, though this has not yet been officially confirmed.
