In central Gaza, the IDF killed Salah Ramadan Muhammad Khalifa, a Hamas cell commander in the Nuseirat Battalion. In a separate strike in northern Gaza, Muhammad Musa Diab al-Habil, a cell commander in Hamas’s West Jabalia Battalion, was eliminated.

According to the IDF, both terrorists were planning attacks against Israeli troops and were targeted in precise strikes after being identified as an immediate threat.

The military said precautions were taken before the strikes to reduce harm to civilians, including the use of precise munitions and aerial surveillance.
