New footage shows an Israeli strike on Iran’s Mobin Energy petrochemical facility in Asaluyeh, one of the most important industrial energy hubs in the Islamic Republic.
The April 6 attack hit utility infrastructure connected to the South Pars complex, including systems that provide electricity, water and oxygen to petrochemical plants in the area. The result was a major disruption across Asaluyeh, with power reportedly cut to petrochemical units in the zone.
This was not a symbolic strike. South Pars and the surrounding petrochemical infrastructure are central to Iran’s energy economy, export revenues and industrial base. The Asaluyeh complex accounts for roughly half of Iran’s petrochemical output, making it one of the regime’s most sensitive economic targets.
For years, Iran has used energy revenue to finance the IRGC, Hezbollah and other terror proxies across the region. By striking the infrastructure that keeps this system running, Israel is sending a clear message: the regime’s terror machine will no longer be allowed to operate safely behind Iran’s borders.
