Netanyahu meets in Jerusalem with Egyptian intelligence chief

The meeting focused on advancing U.S. President Donald Trump’s peace plan and strengthening Israel-Egypt relations

(Oct. 21, 2025 / JNS) Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his senior staff met on Tuesday in Jerusalem with Egyptian intelligence chief Hassan Rashad.

According to the Prime Minister’s Office, the meeting focused on advancing U.S. President Donald Trump’s peace plan, Israel-Egypt relations—including efforts to strengthen the peace between the two countries—and other regional issues.
