Earlier tonight, the Syrian "SANA" agency reported that "the Syrian air defense forces responded to hostile targets in the vicinity of Damascus".

Hezbollah media reported that a large explosion was heard in the Sayda Zainab (NEWSRAEL: Iranian controlled neighborhood)area south of Damascus.

The independent Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) also reported that the explosions heard in Damascus and its rural areas were caused by Israeli bombs.

This is how the reports began in the evening on social networks in Syria.

Later, the reports began to claim that Israel attacked 3 Iranian and Hezbollah sites in the Damascus area in the Al-Saida Zeinab area, which is under the full control of the Iranians and Hezbollah.

Additional reports claimed that an apartment in a civilian neighborhood where a meeting of Iranian officers was held was attacked. 

The house where the apartment in question is located was completely destroyed with all its occupants.

*- Ambulances and fire departments arrived at the building that caught fire and are currently searching for survivors.

*- It was also reported that the "Hitham Suleiman" military camp of the Iranians and Hezbollah in the area was attacked.

*- Syrian report: Israeli warplanes bombed a main control center in the Seida Zeinab area that was used by the Revolutionary Guards and its proxy militias, and the building was completely destroyed. A Syrian army facility near the village of al-Hujaira in southern Damascus was also attacked by missiles.

*- The Syrian Observatory claims that Hezbollah has casualties as a result of the Israeli attack on the area of "Al-Sayida Zainab" and "Babila" in the rural areas of Damascus.

*- Unconfirmed reports from Damascus: 15 Iranian Revolutionary Guards members were killed in the Israeli airstrike.

*- Syrian report: Israel attacked the headquarters of the 666th Liaison Battalion of the Syrian Air Force.

*- A large number of commanders from the ranks of Hezbollah, including commanders who are not of Lebanese origin, were injured this evening by the Israeli bombing. They are now transferring them to the military hospitals in Damascus.
