US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth addressed reporters at the Pentagon today regarding the joint US-Israel military campaign against Iran launched two days ago.

“We did not start this war, but under President Trump, we will finish it,” Hegseth said, underscoring Washington’s determination to bring the confrontation to a decisive end.

Referring to Donald Trump, he added that the president has consistently made clear that attacking Americans carries consequences. “If you kill Americans, if you threaten Americans anywhere on the globe, we will hunt you down without apology and without hesitation,” Hegseth stated.
