For the past three weeks, the fighters of Division 98 have been in an attack on the Khan Yunis area, during which they destroy the enemy and terrorist infrastructure. 

The forces eliminated many terrorists in face-to-face battles, located dozens of tunnel shafts that were destroyed and revealed significant intelligence materials that contributed to deepening the effectiveness of the maneuver.

In the last week, the maneuver expanded in Khan Yunis and the Kfir Brigade joined the divisional attack on the armored, infantry and commando brigades.

The maneuver is accompanied by a close and precise fire plan known as the "fire belt". 

The 214 fire complex and the commando formation attack using guided and precise weapons such as the 'steel stinger' mortar and other precision missiles. So far, hundreds of terrorist targets have been attacked. 

In addition, the IDF and Shin Bet forces eliminated many terrorists through airstrikes, including the head of Khan Yunis's helicopter formation, the commander of the observation company and field-level commanders in the Khan Yunis brigade.

In addition, during the activity of the forces in the area, a report addressed to the commander of the Khan Yunis Brigade in the terrorist organization Hamas was found, dealing with the financial expenses for 2022.

This is an amount paid to the battalions to cover the expenses of the production of doors and concrete during this year. The expenses exceed one million dollars.
