Denmark labels the US a national security threat for the first time
Danish intelligence publishes an unprecedented assessment targeting Washington’s global power moves.
Denmark’s military intelligence service has, for the first time in its history, designated the US as a potential threat to its national security.
The assessment appears in the service’s annual intelligence report released yesterday, and reflects growing European unease over Washington’s expanding economic and technological leverage.
According to the report, the US is “prioritizing its own interests more aggressively,” and is increasingly using its economic and technological dominance as a tool of pressure — including against allies.
