VIDEOS- Last week Mohammed Shia al-Sudani was chosen to be the next prime minister of Iraq. Al-Sudani is known to be an Iranian puppet in Iraq. Iraqis, especially supporters of senior Iraqi Shiite cleric Moqtada al-Sadr who is not in favor of ties with Iran.
From noon riots began in Baghdad against the pro-Iranian candidate and continued until the evening when the demonstrators enterent the "green area" and continued to the parliament building.
In the evening, they succeeded to break into the building itself. Iraqi security forces enter the parliament building packed with protesters. They did not confront the protesters but ask them not to vandalize public property. It seems that the protesters are making the parliament building their own.
