When will the Palestinians sober up ...?

Since April and the Al-Aqsa events, the Palestinians have declared a boycott of Israeli products, but a review of the latest data shows for the first time how much the Palestinian consumer can not do without the Israeli product and market and all boycott attempts are doomed to failure. In June, imports from Israel reached $272 million (about 50% of all Palestinian imports that month), a significant increase compared to about $249 million in May, the month in which "Operation Guardians of the Wall" took place.

The Palestinian trade deficit with Israel in June 2021 reached about $157 million after Palestinian exports to Israel reached about $115 million, about 92% of all Palestinian exports. This figure again underscores the almost complete dependence of Palestinian industry on the Israeli market.
