A familiar pattern is emerging in the India–Pakistan conflict—one reminiscent of the 2020 Nagorno-Karabakh war, where Armenia's army was decisively defeated by modern drones, many of them purchased from Israel. This time, however, the outcome remains uncertain.
Extensive drone use reported
Pakistan’s military confirms that India is making extensive use of Israeli-made suicide drones in deep-strike operations. However, it claims to have intercepted most of these drones before they could hit their targets.
Israel has officially licensed India to manufacture these drones domestically, and production facilities for Israeli systems are already operational in the country.
According to the Pakistani military, suicide drones have targeted key cities including Rawalpindi, Attock, Lahore, and Gujranwala. It reports that more than 12 Indian drones have been successfully intercepted.
