A landmark agreement between Nvidia and the Israel Land Authority for the construction of a massive new technology campus in northern Israel is expected to be signed within days, according to Yaakov Kvint, director of the Israel Land Authority.
Speaking about the project, Kvint said the deal should be finalized “in the next day or two,” calling the planned campus unprecedented in scale for Israel. “This is something the likes of which have never been seen before in Israel,” he said.
According to the approved building plans, the Nvidia campus will cover approximately 160,000 square meters and is designed to house around 8,000 employees. The size of the site is particularly striking: it will be about 30 percent larger than Nvidia’s main campus in Silicon Valley.
The project is expected to significantly strengthen Israel’s high-tech sector, especially in the country’s north, which has long been a strategic priority for economic development. Nvidia has steadily expanded its presence in Israel in recent years, and the new campus would represent one of the largest single investments by a global technology giant in the Israeli tech ecosystem.
