An Al-Arabiya correspondent reported that a drone exploded on Tuesday morning near a military air base inside Baghdad International Airport.

An Iraqi army spokesman said in a statement: "The air defense has managed to shoot down a UAV that was trying to approach, at dawn today, the martyr Muhammad Ala air base, west of Baghdad."

It is worth noting that many missile attacks have repeatedly attempted in recent months to hit military bases inhabiting American forces, and the United States often blames the factions supported by Iran for being behind these attacks.
