WATCH: Despite ongoing wars, over 50,000 people have immigrated to Israel since October 7th

While facing wars with Hamas, Hezbollah, Iran, and the Houthis, Israel has absorbed over 50,000 new immigrants since October 7th, 2023.

More than 50,000 new immigrants have moved to Israel since the Hamas invasion of October 7th, 2023, according to figures distributed by the Jewish Agency earlier this week.

Approximately one-third of the new immigrants are young adults ages 18–35, according to the Jewish Agency data.

In addition, through Masa Israel Journey, a Jewish Agency program in partnership with the Government of Israel, approximately 20,000 young people from Jewish communities abroad have come to Israel to volunteer and strengthen the country since October 7th.
